Valentine Hill B & B

Step back into a world of peace and quiet. Located only 5 minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg,Valentine Hill offers you a safe, clean and peaceful sanctuary. The old MAIN house is the pivotal point of the property. Built in 1868, this venerable German stone home has stood the test of time. It stands strong and silent, offering comfort as well as adventure on the surrounding 47 acres. The house was abandoned for over 80 years with never any electricity or indoor plumbing. It was lovingly restored from 2007 to 2010 and stands today as a gracious reminder of what the original German settlers found so appealing. The original stone walls of the home have remained solid, and the quality materials from which the home was constructed have endured the test of time. I live in the Main House.

Part Two of Valentine Hill is the special LITTLE HOUSE COMPOUND within the old stone walls of the former German barn yard.

In 2013 we were blessed to be able to open three new, spectacular "little houses" for guests. Most of the materials used were either from the original house/barn, or are reclaimed. Each little house has a special name that goes with a special story. Visit the individual pages of each house and learn their characters. Guests will enjoy their own central firepit in the compound and Amelia's Cabin has it's own side porch with Chiminea for a cozy fire when it is cold. And all guests to Valentine Hill are welcome to visit the creek and throw a lure at the fish!
